Which is best for exfoliating? brown or white sugar?

brown sugar for your body... white sugar for your face... i mix them with olive oil and milk as an exfoliant.

They are the same thing, except white is cheaper. Brown is pure and not refined. Some brown sugars are just white sugar with molasses poured on to color it.
I say use white. It is nice and inexpensive.

Brown, its harder and does not melt as fast as white sugar.

I've only heard to use white. I think it's purer anyway? or you could do sugar in the raw? but that's way grainy. . .
