Field of Dreams is the best for baseball history & fans, etc. I love Fever Pitch & The Sandlot (I about choked when he said, "You play ball like a GIRL!") . Some other good ones are Angels in the Outfield, The Rookie, and Rookie of the Year (since I'm a Cubs fan).

Best movie about baseball, or best baseball movie?
First off, "The Babe" STUNK.
I tell ya... if you just remove the dippy love story, "For the Love of the Game" is fantastic... it's like being on the field while a... (SPOILER ALERT) no hitter is thrown.
"Bingo Long and the Traveling All-Stars" was great.
You also forgot "Pride of the Yankees" and "Eight Men Out" which are educational, and fantastic films.
Of your list... "Field of Dreams" is the best MOVIE with baseball in it. "Bull Durham" is the best baseball movie.

Field of Dreams is always one of my favorites.. It basically embodies why people love baseball. It shows the innocent, childish love for the game. It's a movie about baseball and how baseball can still be great without massive stadiums, steroid filled players, salaries and controversy over god knows what... A man builds a baseball field in his yard so ghosts of players can come and play for fun.. great movie.
*61 is also good because it shows what all went on with Roger Maris, which is great, especially after McGwire/Sosa in 98 and Bonds in 03. Not many people know about Roger Maris and what all he went through in 1961.
