He lives in Euope, and I live in America. I think it would be good for the baby to have his nationality.

Its up to you. Do you want him to be apart of your life? Do you need something from him IE: support, money, father figure? All in all i think its nice that he knows but its up to you how involved he should be.

If its his baby and your sure tell him. He needs to stand up and be a man too. He shouldnt get away with a one night stand and you have to deal with a baby for the rest of your life. And always remember if you do not wish to keep the baby there are couples out there wanting a baby adoption is a great thing!! Good Luck

You absolutely have to tell him! It is in no way your place to decide for your Child that he shouldn't have an active Dad in his life. Of course the Dad may not want anything to do with this Child, but on the other hand, he just might, what do you have to lose by telling him, in my opinion you and your Child have everything to lose if you DON'T tell him. PLUS why should you have to dodge the truth when a few years down the road your Child comes to you and asks where his Dad is, if you resolve all of this now, you'll have the perfect answer; THE TRUTH!!!

YES! having a child shouldn't be a burden on you alone let him know if hes a man he'll stand up and do what is right ( whatever you two decide is the right thing ) but by not telling him you are taking his chance to do the right thing, to have a part in his child's life.

It's more than just a yes or no answer, there are alot of other things to consider, like do you think even if you do tell him that he'd want to get involved?? He definately has a right to know, but you are the one that has to raise the child. My babys dad and I separated when i was still pregnant, and I'm waiting till my son grows up b4 i let him no who his real father is, my partner has been there since day 1 ( literally) and my son has grown up thinking he is his real dad. We're all happy that way, and I will tell him when I think he's ready to know. Like i said b4 there are alot more things to consider.

If you don't have a problem with him being part of your baby's life, and it doesn't seem like you have, then yes.
He should be taking responsibility for the child and he has the right to make that choice.

He has a right to know. And the nationality comes second, my dear. Sort out the basics first. Best of luck to you and the baby!

No matter what...the child has the right to know his/her father. Not to mention if he was good enough to sleep with he should be good enough to know that he fathered a child. Coming from a woman whose daughter's father has not seen her in almost 3 years...take my word for it...it's heartbreaking. Do the right thing and tell him.

Yes, not only is it the right thing to do, he is still responsible for child support.

Oh yeah and put his name and address on the dotted line for child support as well. It takes two!
