Get someone to take you to 'Les Halles' it's the market area. You will find lots of restaurants there and enjoy a gorgeous meal, cheaper than it would be anywhere else. And as it is the big market place ... You know that any seefood you'll eat is really fresh. It's great for an evening meal.

Dyring the day check out brasseries, they're cheaper than restaurants and try to stay outside the Champs Elysees, Champs De Mars, Concorde and Eiffel Tower area for your meals!

And should you visit EuroDisney ... Make a point of eating before you go! They would really hammer you because it's so popular, restaurants can charge what they like!

Have a nice holiday!

There are three places I love to go off the beaten path. The first one is called Chez Papa, it's in the 14em, really nice big bowl salads and straight forward plates. The second is also in the 14em, it's called Le Joslyn, it's a crepe place. Savory, as well as sweet crepes. Out of this world!!!! It's on a small street named blvd du montparnasse. It's lined with crepe places, and there is even one called Le Petit Joslyn, make sure you go to Le Joslyn. The third is my favorite. It's called A La Bonne Cave. It's in the 13em on Rue des cinque diamonts, the food is sooooooooo good. They serve duck confit, duck breast with a plum sauce, casseolet, etc.. the food is superb! I hope this helps.

No doubts 'bout that: AU P'TIT GREC, where you'll the best crepes of Paris, good ingredients, clean place, nice ambiance and you'll be completely stuffed for only 6€... find it at rue Mouffetard (Vème), Place Monge is the nearest Métro station. The walk from Luxembourg is also nice and totally recommended. End it up with a nice rose-like ice cream 50m up that street (2,5€)...

Roberto Duran: the place is named Chez clément ! ;)

But it is not very good... It's only for tourists...

You can try South west food!! (I come from this region of France!)It 's excellent: foie gras de canard (duck), pommes dauphines, Magret de canard, confit de canard, good wine (Bordeaux saint emilion, Pomerol). This is not very dietetic but it is so good!! There are very many places in Paris with this sort of food! Try it!

There is a place: Washington Street near the champs elysées where there is this type of restaurant. It's easy to find it.

I found that the resturants near Motmarte are very reasonable, good quality and good service. Stay away from the main streets and especially Champs Elysse
