Look brother!!! Just remember who created ROCK N ROLL (Little Richard is the GodFather of Rock for a reason, The OJAYS are a part of the Rock N Roll hall of Fame for a reason)and remind the dumb mutha ****** who criticize you for it. Im Black and I RAP, but most of th CD's i buy (****, most of my Collection) are Old 60-70's rock, or Metal like Korn, Mettalica, S.O.A.D, Breakin Benjamin, etc. You are embracing you heritage by ACKNOWLEDGING YOU BLACK MAN!!! That's the only way to go, AS LONG YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE COME FROM. Your music has nothing to do with it. Ignore all that bullshit, If you embarrassed then you are not comfortable with yourself and thats not good folk. Much love homie, Rap is gettin lukewarm anyway. when i was new wave in the 90s going to goth/new wave clubs theyre was these two black twin punkers who were tall and handsome...Id see them all the time.. cool dudes.. man.. I totally remember them.. those two were few and far between...
my advice is consider yourself unique. dont change.
