Well, you really didn't give enough information in your question for me to give you an exact answer, but ,from the information that you did give, I can tell you that the emails you're getting sound like a hoax that's been circulating the internet since the late 90s. It's fake. On the internet they're even called Urban Legends. Go to http://www.snopes.com/info/glossary.asp to read a definition of what an Urban Legend is. There are 2 different variations of this type of email. I don't know exactly which one you're getting because ,like I said before, you didn't give enough information. What I can do though is give you the link to the page of these 2 variations so you can find out for yourself. Just go to http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=yahoo+and+msn+closing+down&getit=Go&sp-a=00062d45-sp00000000&sp-advanced=1&sp-p=all&sp-w-control=1&sp-w=alike&sp-date-range=-1&sp-x=any&sp-c=100&sp-m=1&sp-s=0 to see which one it is that you're getting.

Just as a future reference, you may want to add http://www.snopes.com/ to your favorites list so you can see if something is real or fake the next time you get something like that in your email.

I hope this helps and ,remember, don't believe everything you read or see on the internet. Have a good night!

Also, go to a site called; www.truthorfiction.com and they will set you straight about rumors. You just copy whatever you get and paste it there for them to read. If they don't have it already, they will tell you if it's a fact or just a rumor.
