Bank of America....trust me, I used to work there. The tactics they use to force people to open accounts was just downright wrong...besides other things...Our old manager told the investment services rep to sleep with a client to gain his business once...

I've never had an account there, but I also hear awful things about them from their customers and employees.

sheesh! some of these answers and stories are horrid! I hope the investment service rep filed a complaint/law suit against that stinking manager! that's downright sexual harrassment! And some of these other stories? Makes me want to start keeping my money under a mattress again! lol
I have a bank that I'm seriously considering changing because they've made so many mistakes. They'll take a check I've written and key in more than I actually wrote it for. Now with online banking I can check those checks to make sure...SHEESH!

I don't bank with them but I hope the person who was told to sleep with a client file a sexual harassment suit against the bank if that's true. I typically do business with credit unions.

i dont know if it is worse but sovereign bank lost my pay check. i deposited it on friday, got a recept checked my balance on monday and it didnt show up as having been deposited. so i talked with a costumer rep and she said she has no record of it ever being deposited on her cpu. three weeks later when i am threating a lawsuit the check reappears. it was a 1000+ dollar check
