Yes, but I continue to be polite and nice anyway because it makes me feel good. I just focus on the positive and I realize that sometimes I could be helping someone, just by the way that I'm treating them.

Yes, becasue I believe respect should be earned, not just automatically given. If you want me to be polite and nice, then you have to EARN that respect from me, and you're not going to earn it by being a jerk to ME. I tried being nice regardless for a LOOONG time, but it seems it's only come back to bite me in the a**, because people take advantage of your kind heart.

Yes, this is what I've been looking for. This morning I felt that raw emotion, as co worker snickered at me, I wanted more than nothing for it to be his last time ever, I will not surender my integridy for his lost reality and my mistaken idenity, to be walked over as if I am some form of lower class sub-human.

I've only done it once. I was trying to get down an aisle of a store. This very large woman was just meandering down the middle of it.I squeezed by her (without touching her ).She hollered after me "You could at least say excuse me"I thought for a minute and said in return,"Why should say excuse me, when it"s your fat A** that's blocking the aisle?". When I got out of the store I felt bad because I've never said anything like that before. Then I thought, she was the one that was being inconsiderate, not me.

Emotion is not in my vocabulary.....because I am me. A constant fluctuation of emotions, polite one minute, cranky the next. Staying in one for an elongated period is not me. So yea and no at the same time.
