All of you who are only changing 5 diapers a day - I am jealous. My daughter must be younger than yours. I change an average of 8-10 diapers a day. Yes, still. And yes, I know that with disposable diapers, a baby can tickle a couple of times before you "have" to change the diaper, but I have a little one with very sensitive skin (her older brother was the same way) so I change a diaper at least once an hour during awake hours.

My children were different too but I usually changed 4-5 diapers a day.It was usually 1680 diapers for the first year. After the age of 1 year and 3 months none of my children needed diaper even at night.

Well, I change an average of 5 diapers a day now and when my daughter was younger it was more. So I would say multiply 6 diapers per day for two years and you get 4,380 diapers. If it takes longer to potty-train your child obviously it will be more. A nice round figure would be 5,000 diapers. I'll try to keep you posted.

On average ... About 8-10 diapers per day. If your baby is using less than this, you either aren't changing often enough or your baby is sick.

If they are using more than 12 diapers a day, may they are drinking too much.

I change 6-9 diapers a day depending on how much fluid she drinks and how many times she decides to poop.

5 diapers a day is safe enough.
so that makes 5 x 7 = 30 pads in a week
30 x 4.2 weeks = 126 pads in a month
126 x 12 months = 1,512!!!! a year

and my son just had his first birthday, so i guess i'll be spending for thousands more!

It's estimated that each baby will need about 6,000 diapers during the first two years of life.

I think I change about 3-4 a day now, but my little man is on his way to potty training. Before, it was around 6-7 a day.
