Due to using a work PC i am unable to download podcasts using a podcast downloader. Is there a way of simply downloading files without the downloader. I know in some cases you can just select a file and save however some are a link i guess to some sort of database. Maybe i'm being stupid but want to be able to download the radio one/two and virgin 1215 podcasts directly from the net. Help please

podcasts are simply audio files stored in different formats. You can choose which format you want, and download the same way as any ordinay file from the website.

Only if your mp3 player can serve as a mass storage device, which most should (notable exception being the iPods). You won't be able to listen to it, but you can take it home and transfer on with the right program and listen to it then.

i think as long as it's in mp3 format, you can download it to your computer and listen through your computer speakers.
