Superstition: the song rocks. I think "Superstition" was Wonder's outlet to kick out the jams and really rock, an creative aversion to his formula black ethnic lyrical contented songs that spawned his Motown success.
Superstition had it's challenges: Wonder wanted to rock, but pull it off without not sounding "too white", a huge concern for black music artists in the early '70s.

My Cherie Amour (1969). Special relevance to me, I was pregnant with my first child when this song was out. I loved it and the words so much when my daughter was born later that year, we named her Cherie after the song. So there's a special connection for me.
