fads fail, you have to move slow and steady using both more controlled eating habits with increasing levels of exercise. Many give up quickly because they hit it too hard too fast. Go slow and work your way into it. Here's a great tip...have a junk day one day per week where you allow yourself to binge, then when your tempted instead of thinking 'no...never...I won't..' you can think
'I'll see you Sunday'

I once gave up french fries, chips, and soda for one month and lost seven pounds by just doing that. I still ate hamburgers and other foods that I liked. I then gradually kept replacing my old habits with new healthy ones until I was eating better and it didn't seem so drastic. The weight loss and new-found energy is a great motivating factor to keep you on the right track too.

the best diet that I ever went on was called the "Rotation Diet" don't know if you can still find a copy of it. But it was great and I really lost weight and the cravings for other junk food.
