Ooh .. I love that movie and I actually bought it at Target for $9.99. Shane West and Mandy Moore are the main characters. Though it was high school ish .. sometimes pure pressure is hard to deal with and being the victim of bullying is always hard to cope with. Especially in high school. Anyways, being a girl I loved that movie. It was sad when Jaime died of cancer. That was sad. But it was sweet when Landon visited Jaime's father when he got into Medical School. Okay, getting off track. Sorry!! What did you think of that movie?

The movie was nice, but I prefer the book. Nicholas Sparks is a great writer, but much of his writing is cerebral and the stories happen in the minds and interactions of the characters. There are changes made to translate his stories to film that don't do justice (imho) to the books. The Notebook is the same way. The movies are "nice" but the books fantastic.

I liked it, but thought the book was better. I'm the same w/ the Notebook. I cried like a baby when i was reading the book, but I didn't think the movie was as good!

Yes, but it is very sad. If you like that movie you will love The Notebook. Nicholas Sparks wrote both of the books.
