They ecourage you to ask a few questions which are in ur mind, before you start answering others.
Tell me one thing, how can there be any question on this site, if there would be no points to begin with with your questions.

If it started with 0 you would not be at level 2 yet would you , it also lets you ask some questions for 5 points if you started with 0 you would need to answer a lot before you could ask to find out something

Well they start you off with 100pts. because they want you to have a walking start on here so things run a bit more smoothly. If they started out with 0 pts. people would be desprate enough to to to a question with 0 answers and type chickenscratch just to get points.Yahoo dosent want them to cheat just to get points they just want you to answer what you can and give it your all!

I think it's because we'd say f this and do something else. So thank you yahoo for the pojnts. I'm not sure what they are really for besides adding them and subtracting them and making you go up a level. What's up with the level's what do you get out of them?

Because each asking question cost you minus5(-5) points. If there is a 0 balance in your account. How you will pay -5???
