ok lets say u had children.
would u rather have them listeing to dudes from the hood shootin eacothers guts out and screwin butts.
i love metal. not all metal is bad.metal hyps me up, in a good way and it makes me feel cool.. dont ask...
and gothic i would say is right behind rap because marillyn manson has inspired many kids to kill and destroy.
so i would say the worst is rap, then gothic, then metal

I don't believe music inspires destructive thoughts. The culture surrounding it might, mental illness may cause someone to interpret it in a way that would cause destructive thoughts, etc. A rational person won't become destructive just by listening to a certain type of music.

The lessor evil would have to be metal.
Metal has been around longer than the other two.
Gothic would be in the middle and rap would be the most evilest.
Rap is the cause of most of the situations you see on TV all the time.
I think they should ban Rap music because it's worse then some of the shiit I heard at resistance.com

Music isn't evil. Metal has the most songs about suicide. Rap has more songs about hate in general. Goth music isn't good to listen to if you are already depressed. But destructive thoughts are under your personal control and your own responsibility. Don't blame music for your weakness.

Rap is more...forth coming in it's violence but, I have found that metal really is the most destructive. Just the other day, I heard a song on the end credits of Snakes on a Plane. "I'm gonna...I'm gonna *** you up. I'm gonna *** you good"
Metal is just more secretive and you have to listen for it. Rap isn't the worst. I've honestly never heard of "12 ways to murder your dad" in a Hip Hop song. Some of you guys are just being stereotypical and I honestly think you haven't truly compared these genre's for yourselves.

There isn't a lesser evil. In Gods eyes one sin is the same as any other. If the music is perverted in any way I'm sure God wouldn't approve of one of his children listening to it and corrupting there mind.On the other, hand if the music isn't vulgar then it would be a matter of personal conviction to whether or not it is wrong to listen to.

Destructive thoughts? Probably modern rap. It caters to material possession and misogyny on a degenerate level. It tends to state that violence is a solution to real life problems.
Metal people are actually pretty laid back and just use metal to let off some steam.
Gothic people are also pretty mellow. I really just laugh at them and they are usually harmless and introverted.

metal may sound demonic, but its least on the evil level for sure. It's the irony the music portrays. Metal is alot harder than gothic and that rap bull ****.

i think rap is lesser evil. and metal causes most destructive thoughts. hmm ya pretty much all i listen to is hard rock/metal so ya i feel pretty destructive sometimes.
