there are lots of good bbq places. but if you are heading east from stl, you will be in illinois, not missouri

You have to go to the Gateway Arch and ride up to the top!

my husband is from st.louis and so the 1st time i visited the things that stick in my mind are the arch (a must), don't know where you are from but pictures by the mississippi are always great and who can forget the word mississippi from our spelling days when it was pounded into are heads, and the is a gambling boat i know on the st. charles river and possibly downtown still that is especially great at night. inn st louis and moving east there is always great baseball, and in a town called alton across the river in illinois is some great hiking!! enjoy the weather is just starting to get nice there,

I suggest you avoid the ladies... afterall, do you really want to play Russian Roulette and take the chance of getting AIDS or venereal diseases? Take in the zoo, do the Arch, and maybe see a Cardinal game instead.
