Why western media is against Muslim countries?

Last week Isreal captured a minister of Phalistine and entered their troops in to Phalistinen terrtory but media kept silent. While on capturing the Israel soldiors there was huge disturbance among the media. And media did not presented the true picture of war.

todays media influenced by bad politics, politicians.when western tortureand people try to either protect themselves or take the way to fight then western tell it as "Terrorist", Well i agree Islam doesnt support terrorism at all,even i dont support and feel the way of protecting is "terrorism".Bu why media can not be the mirror of real fact?

Actually morality is not present in the western people, if it would be then all didnt support israle blindly.Well they could have protest palestain present govt. may be but before that they should had protest israel's torture on muslim ladies and children.

they would have thought just because of their "policy" middleeast politics is being changed, peoples are getting anger and they are supporting party like "hamas" and "hijbullah".even Saudi King also are changing their mentality.Iran is trying to get neuclear weapon.Cause they felt nobody comes to help (even other poor muslim nations) them like Iraq, and iraq is today just a colony of USA!

media is not actually against muslim country , rather they dont have moral view as they also are the follower of Bush or his friends!

I don't know about "the Western Media" as I don't see European news. But the American media is heavily biased in favor of the Muslim countries. The Hisbullah have been sending rockets into Israel for years without the governament of Lebanon doing anything to try to stop them.

Each rocket into Israel was an act of war and justified Israel going into Lebanon and wiping Hisbullah out. Israel has been extremely patient and when they did go into Lebanon to try to stop Hisbullah from murdering more Israelies they were very careful to try to not involve Lebaneze citizens.

Despite the fact that Israel going into Lebanon was a clear case of self defence against Muslim terrorists, The American media frequently criticized Israel.

When you talk about Palistinian territory you are falling for revisionist history. You know that prior to 1967 there was no Palistinian territory. The people living on the Golan heights were Syrians, the people living in the West Bank were Jordanians, and the people living in Gaza were Egyptians. Israel captured those territories in 1967 when those 3 countries started a war against Israel.

Syria and Jordan never made peace with Israel after the cease fire 6 days after the 3 Arab countries started the war. There was no peace treaty because neither Syria nor Jordan would acknowledge Israel's right to exist as a country. So that Syria and Jordan have been in a state of war with Israel since 1967.

This whole "Palistinian" idea has been a scam of the Arab countries to regain the territories that they lost in the 1967 War that they are unable to regain militarily. If the West Bank should go back to anyone, it should go back to Jordan.

The western media are tools of their corporate masters who haave a symbiotic relationship with the politicians. We need enemies to keep the military industrial complex going. After the soviet unioun collapsed Saddam Hussein became the chosen enemy. When he turned out to be a weak toothless tiger the new chosen enemy was 'radical' Islam.

Since most people in the US can't find Canada on a map all Muslim countries and Muslims and brown skiined people are lumped into the mass of "The Other." That foriegn enemy who irrationally hates us not for anything we have done but because of our freedom.

The western corporate owned media is simply doing it's part to keep the fear and loathihg of the other, muslims in this case, alive and therefore keep profits flowing to their corporate masters.

The media is not against muslim countries. It generally takes a neutral position and occasionally even an anti-Israel one.

In the incident you mentioned, exactly what was not covered? The media in the US was not silent.

The media should be against the Muslim terrorists because they MURDER people for no worthwhile reason.

The true picture was presented if you were looking for the truth.... it was there to find... YOU would have had to look though....

Um ... Perhaps because their citizens keep trying to blow us up? Just a guess. Or did you miss the whole Twin Towers thing? Because we all kind of felt like maybe that was a pretty anti-Western sentiment.

The plot by Muslim terrorists sponsered by Muslim governments to blow up 10 airplanes that was foiled earlier this month probably wasn't very good for their image either.

Please get something right. The media is not against all Muslim countries. They are looking for a story. This means mostly Muslim extremists and terrorists. The media is putting the Muslims into a category basically so we can all be predjudiced and racist, while I for one know for a fact that not all of them are extremists.

wow, what stations are you watching cause here in america, all we see are doctored photos of the palestinians dragging corpses of babies out for propaganda over and over and the same old woman taking a tour of the country wailing about her home in the background being destroyed. a different home in every pic. she must be rich with so many homes!

The Palestinian government is currently run by terrorists. That means that all of their ministers and officials are fair game.
