we're casual friends right now, hung out a couple of times alone (our mutual friend has told me he likes me), but nothing's official. I'm beginning to like him more, but he's an investment banker and works 7 days a week at 80-90hrs per week.

his boss calls all the time, on weekends and at dinner time, everything always gets cut short....he barely has time to do anything else, is it just not worth it??

if you are not yet older then 25 then why do you need a boyfriend anyway???? If you have not yet got a degree and have the job you dream of, then don't let a man get in your way of acheiving your goals FIRST!!! Drop him and when you are where you need to be in life, then you pick the cream of the crop ;)

If you really care about him, and things get more serious, then your two choices are this:

1) Accept that this is his job and it's important to him, and that you will not get to see him as much as you'd like.

OR

2) Realize that while you like him alot, he would not be the right person for you because you know that you would need alot more time and attention from him than he is able to give.

Since you are just friends right now, I would say to keep your options open, and see what happens...sometimes though you meet people and it's just that circumstances that exist may not be ideal, and it is ok to realize that and decide that it would be too hard to put up with. If you ask him to change his schedule or to stop doing what he loves, he will resent you, yet if you ignore these feelings that his schedule would be a problem for you, you will end up resenting him. Be realistic, but also remember that "love is patient, love is kind"...and love conquers all.
