im in a 12 man league, with my RB's being Portis, Jordan, and J.Lewis.

With Portis being injured and with ducket in the mix. Its obvious Portis will lose as many as 5 touchdowns this year.

Should i trade portis? or stick it out?

I only worry cause im back up in lewis is injured now also.

Should i see if i can trade Portis for someone like, Edge, R. Johnson, R.Brown, or Steven Jackson. Ect?

Jamal Lewis might well only be the backup for the Ravens. He has some kind of hip problem. Imagine if you lost him and Portis early on. You need to act now or you may regret it later. Try to trade Portis. I don't think you will have too many takers on Lewis. I had Lewis, but I took Mike Anderson instead.

I can't see anyone who owns those other backs giving you fair value. They all most likely took those backs in the same round as you when you got Portis. They to will know the "?" that comes with Portis. If you gave a second player with Portis, it would be too much...and if they to added a second player...most likely it will not fit into your team as you would hope. Not that you couldn't luck out though! I do agree that Jackson is the best player you listed to trade for and I would also say better in some instances due to the weaker defenses he will face this year.

It's going to be hard for you to trade an injured running back, so it's probably in your best interest to keep him on your roster. According to Yahoo's page on Clinton Portis, Joe Gibbs is expecting Portis to start week 1, so there would be no real reason to trade him anyway. Keep him.

I'd hang on to Portis. I had Lewis in a similar league last year and he was awful. I'm thinking that Portis will be ready to go by mid-September, and he won't miss a step.

you wont get anyone like that for portis now...his stock is so low. all the other ownes are so happy that they didnt have to pick him. you are stuck but i think you will be fine. portis is a beast and it looks like he will be healthy in the first week. and dont worry about duckett, gibbs loves his horses and he feeds them often. stick it out

You should get Jackson. Hes going to get 20-30 carries a game under new coach Scott Linehan, plus he could have the best combo of speed and power the NFL has seen in a long time. Think Ricky Williams without the weed.

you have to stick it out - you will not get fair value for Portis if you try to deal him right now. Wait, and hope for the best.

No way you'd get any of the guys you listed above for him now. No way.

Stick it out. You're going to have trouble getting a trade for him b/c of the injury and Duckett aquisition. He's a stud anyway, and his injury isn't that bad
