As soon as I come home from a massage, I hit the shower. I don't like any of that stuff they use. I try to get my massage late in the evening so that I can come home and shower and then to to bed. I think the combo is very relaxing.

It is actually quite beneficial to take a shower after a massage. The massage itself helps to begin the flush of toxins from the body--that is why it is recommended that you drink alot of water after getting one and why you may be slightly sick to your stomach the following day if you do not drink enough water. Taking a shower can help the body to process more of those toxins and some spas even offer a shower at the end of the massage as a part of the original treatment.

Not at all - a warm bath or shower actually promotes the body's natural process of eliminating the toxins released by massage. It's also a good idea to drink some extra water after your massage treatment for the same reason.

no i already answered this its better to take a bath or shower first the muscles are much looser afterwards and easier to massage

Well it depends on the oil used. If it what I use I usually say wait and let it soak in to get the full benefits of it. But it is up to the individual.
