After Katrina George W. Bush was often accused of being rascist against blacks for not repairing the levees at New Orleans. I found this very amusing that he was being accused of being a rascist for that, but what are others opinions.

I dont think he is..,he has more black people in the white house than any other president in history. If you search hard enough you will also find there have been several democratic blacks that had ran for numerous positions..,congressman,senators etc..,and the democratic party had not fairly given the funding to the blacks running for public office. When I found this out..,it was another blow to the democratic party and another reason I left it.If anyone is Louisiana is a racist its the Mayor that wants New Orleans to be a chocolate town again. He got away with saying that one didnt he?

If you have ever seen President Bush around minorities you can see he is very much at ease in their presence. Bush basically likes all people, his cabinent certainly has many minorities. Don't get me started on New Orleans. Let's see, you knew for a week that Katrina was coming but you didn't evacuate; you knew for decades that your city was prone to flooding, but you didn't fix the levees, your incompetent mayor couldn't get people on the school buses to evacuate them, and then he gets reelected. New Orleans is the most corrupt, backword, ignoratnt city in the country. A year after Katrina they still haven't cleaned the debris out of the streets. They are lazy and have absolutely no pride.

He is NOT racist. He hired black people into some of the very top jobs in his cabinet, and wanted to put a hispanic and a woman on the supreme court. (they were his first choices) His cabinet is more diverse than any other yet!!!
I would love to see someone like Condi Rice or Colin Powell as president or vice president.

I highly doubt it. Accusations of racism are just ways to cause a stir in most cases. Bush, as much as I dislike the man, takes a lot of flak for things he's not responsible for. He's done enough wrong... we don't need to make up further evils that he's done. Of course, that's just my opinion, which could always be wrong.

Bush haters will take any situation and make him responsible just to gain support for their view of President Bush. They call him a liar over any position they disagree with but still worship the only convicted liar ever to have been president.

No actually its blacks who hate George Bush! I think Bush is a great president that unfortunately is going through a tough time! But then again black people say that everyone discriminates them when really they are the ones discriminating hispanics and whites! I'm not a racist but thats my honest opinion!

from what I have heard the levees needed fixing long before the hurricane. N.O. new about the problem and did nothing about it. I believe that President Bush is doing the best he can. But you have to remember that he is only human.
