Good question, Well I always thought it was to keep from having panty lines, then it became a turn on for men. EITHER way they sure are uncomfortable. You go around all day "trying" to pick it out of the crack of your butt (to NO avail) and I personally would rather show panty lines than to show my ***!!

to get rid of the panty lines on your pants/skirts/dresses...? that's what i always thought. some ppl prefer to wear them all the time tho
