your self-esteem? what techniques, methods, skills do you use (please be specific)? is it really possible to improve years of bad habits (looking down) and beliefs (i'm no good) with self-esteem work?

Yes you can undo a lot with work and counselling.

The best techniques are to really look at your past and figure out where these things are coming from. We all have tapes that play in our heads from our childhood that say we're not good enough, that there's something wrong with us.

We have to reprogram those messages to say new things.

Positive affirmations are a good start. If you stand in the mirror and repeat good things about yourself and who you are.

But I strongly suggest talking to someone and getting some help sorting this out.

probably not, you should just give up, why bother. Of course you can improve self esteem. Read the book the four agreements by don ruiz. Practice the general idea of what the 4 agreements are and will be a much happier person after only a few months.

why not get counselling or buy all the doctor Phi books u can find. hes a gr8 author and im sure would b a gr8 help for u. Its possible to become selfconfident u just need to reprogram how u think bout yourself.
