Then you do the same thing. Don't waste your time being mad over it.

Nope! Get the girls together and go on your own trip. He's having fun, why shouldn't you? But first of all, don't make this a fight! Calmly tell him you decided a vacation would be nice and your gonna take one too and make sure you do. Don't be talked out of it. Take yours at a different time then his. This way you'll both miss the things you do for each other daily. Maybe you'll both come back missing each other like crazy and renew some old passion. You could sit there worrying about it or maybe you could experience it too. Sometimes a little away time reminds you of the wonderful thing you have. That's probably all he needs. Then when you both get done, go on an OVERNIGHT DATE somewhere special to remind yourselves how wonderful it is to be in love!

i am surprised. My husband never planned a trip that i don't like because he wants both of us going. What is your husband up to anyway. Talk about it and don't get mad because it's not worth it.

You two NEED TO TALK. You don't need to ask if you SHOULD be mad, you ARE mad, aren't you.

This "trip" sounds more like he is trying to punish you somehow. I am sure he knows that his actions are hurtful to you. If you deserve punishment for some reason, make that issue part of what you talk about. If you don't deserve punishment, then ask him what is wrong and why he is treating you this way.

If you can't get anywhere with just the two of you talking, try to get him to go to a marriage counselor. Your relationship needs help and they can provide valuable professional guidance.

You have every right to be angry and I wouldn't stand and let it happen. Girl, go get his passport or his plane ticket or even the car keys and lock all his clothes in a suitcase in the car trunk. Did I forget something? Oh yeah. He sleeps at night so find his wallet and hit him where it hurts. This would be like you inviting his parents on your honeymoon. Only a fool would take a vacation without his girl. I don't think you are wrong or feel one bit unusual. Still love him but stand your ground. If he truly loves you then he wont leave you behind.

Don't get mad! Go have fun yourself! Go shop, go out to the movies, then call the girls and go out dancing! Unless......you have kids, then he's a creep! That would be totally unfair and something he should have made arrangements with you. Like get a babysitter and you go your way and he go his way, that would be fair. Or meet up at the end of your trip for a day together somewhere else than your hometown. Don't ask us though you really should ask him why he doesnt want you to go or why he wants to go alone. really. Be careful and be safe.

If you love and trust your husband, then build a bridge and get over it.

Sometimes I go away with out my husband, sometimes he goes away with out me. The reunions are always great and the time apart is very theraputic.

If you don't trust him, then that is a whole different issue.

Good luck

Why would you be mad? It sounds like a much-needed holiday for both of you. I would help him pack.
