If you were really mad and thought it was over and you were filing for divorce.. if you got a letter would you even read it or just tear it up and forget it?

I'd say a letter... it gives you the chance to write everything that you are feeling. Women will very rarely NOT read a letter. She may not read it straight away, but she will. it will also be a cleansing experience for you, in the off-chance that she still wants to continue with the split, at least you know you tried your hardest and told her everything you needed to say. it could help you to put it behind you. Good good good luck to you ! xx

I agree with ladybugg. You could try both approaches - incase she doesn't read the letter, she'll hear you out, or if she doesn't want to see you she'll read the letter.

Prayer is definitely a good thing. You should be remembering God everyday, not only times of trouble because that is a bit selfish.

Sometimes people are just stubborn and don't like to give in easily. Try leaving a voicemail on her cell phone if she has one, and if all else fails, ask her bestfriend or mum or someone to help - that they should put her in touch with you, so she can hear you out one last time. Perhaps she will come round; however people can forgive things but it's hard to forget.

Good luck.

I would say BOTH.

If you really love her and want her in your life, I would say that both words (if she will give you the time) and also a letter would be appropriate. With a letter you won't be rushed and can say everything you want to.

I would also suggest that you pray. Prayer works wonders. I hope that things go the way you want, but if they don't, just remember that it's because God has other plans for you.
Also, I KNOW that people CAN change. I've changed, and I've seen others changed. You know the truth about that, so don't worry what you read on here.....people can't generalize about everyone in one phrase.

Hang in there, everything will be ok, Trust God.

Letter--that way you can get in everything you want to say with no interruptions.

If she'll actually see you, I would say do it in person. How else will she be able to look in your eyes and see if there is a shred of truth in what you are saying?
