My wife is pregnant right now and I have been to most all the doctors appointments. Only missed cause I work offshore. The doctor told us that in the first week you can be tested by blood test. But my wife tested on the EPT (I think) in the first 2 weeks and got 2 positive readings before going to the doctor for final conformation. So yes you can find out that fast but with medical help. After that you need to wait a couple Weeks and as most have said on here the closer to your period the better for an accurate drug store test. Hope it all works out for you. I know we are excited.

You can get a first response test up to 5 days before you expect your period to start. If it was a few days before your period or while you are on your period you are not likely to be pregnant. The time you are most likely to get pregnant is 10-14 days after the first day of your last peiod. Hope this helps you.

There is a test that will conclusively tell you that quickly, but it isn't cheap, and it is rarely covered under medical insurance.

Read the data on test kits you can buy OTC.

A month and you can know. At 4 weeks pregnancy can be terminated. Calm down, panic can make you miss a period.

Yes, pregnancy can be detected in a week. This is normally done via blood test, and I've never heard of it done beyond to rape victims at hospitals.

Commonly, a missed period is a first sign of pregnancy. When a woman is trying to get pregnant, she should still practice healthy and safe habits prior to confirming a pregnancy.

if someon erupted in you then you'd be dead...but if he ejaculated in you, that's another story! It depends on your ovulation cycle though. But if you were using protection you wouldn't have this issue :) The morning after pill is the way to go!

Yes!! I conceived my first child on our first anniversary and I remember clearly that my husband ejectulated inside of me, wherebys, he had never done so before. Approximately, 5 days later, I was sick on a boat ride which I never was before, and the rest of our anniversary trip was spent either getting "green" in the face or dealing with severae headaches. When I returned home, I immediately purchased EPT and it was postive! Watch for any sickness or repulsion to things that you were never affected by before....then get the pregnancy test to confirm your suspinions!

I don't think so. Those new test just say they can detect pregnancy 4 days or so before your missed period. So I guess it could be possible if you are about start. I'm not sure.
