my best friend got a feloney charge pending against her for breaking into someones car while she was under the influence of xanax and doesnt remember much but they didnt catch her stealing anything from his car but seen her in it looking for something attemping to take something does anyone know what the punishment for auto burglary is if convicted?

1st offense? if they can't prove she took anything, its attempted burglary, breaking and entering, vandelism, and under the influence of controlled substance. most likele probation

First time arrest will get her at most commuity service or less. Odds are on a mr meaner reduction or drop the case. The drug might be a different story. Drug classes

I'm not sure what the punishment is , but a lawyer or some one at your court house could tell you . no i have never been in trouble with the law. never even had a parking ticket.
