Anyone know what the name of the 9-pin port is listed as on a Soyo board in Bios Integrated Perpherals, and what setting should I set it on to accept a typical Olympus 9-pin camera?

Go to Olympus.com and ask them.

I AM NOT SURE BUT IT IS THE serial port(next 2 da parrelel port) and u can istall by
-control panel
-ad/remove hardware
-choose name of the port as serial port
-u must have a got a disk so clik add new device
-then click hav disk and choos the product and install it further

Without knowing what model camera you are talking about I'm not 100% but I think you are referring to the 16550 serial ports often designated as com1 and com2

9-pin port is your com ports a.k.a com1, com2 or serial ports...
all motherboards have it... about the setting just look at their site...
