I, for one, am not.......if you can't laugh at yourself or who you are--then what does that say about YOU?

Some people really need to get more comfortable in their own skin and get confident enough to brush off things that others say about them that can be considered 'mean'.

Who agrees?

Frankly, I don't care who I offend. People obviously need to grow up if they are going to get all bent outta shape over someones opinions. The world doesn't revolve around uptight sissies who can't take a joke.

Some people like to think we live in a fantasy world and everything is just wonderful and when faced with something they think is ugly get offended. The world in general is a ugly place and people in general are hateful and ugly towards each other. It's survival of the fittest. To survive you have to be thick skinned and let things roll off your back. Besides your the bigger person by ignoring and not giving attention to the things that seem to be offensive. I don't get offended that easily myself. I might not agree with someones point of view, but I also acknowledge that ( at least here in America ) people have a right to their opinions. Freedom of speech is one of our biggest freedoms.

In your case I don't agree. You asked a question earlier about why Gay's stole the rainbow and the standing word "gay".

You should take your own advice and brush off everything. Here you are asking questions in your little rage because you received, in my opinion expected and rightful reactions from different members. Why don't YOU let it go and stop asking pointless questions because I know that's one of the reasons for the question being asked.

Get comfortable in your own skin and drop everything, your homophobia and grudges on Yahoo answers.

take comfort on two counts ... there is no right not to be offended, and everybody needs an ahole. That being said, some people just can't handle the truth. Why? Because they're pathetic and weak! There is no why!

I agree that it's important to be thick skinned and turn the other cheek, but I also think that unnecessary hate or ridicule is wrong. Who does it make feel better? The person saying it? Just go drink a beer, eat some chocolate, or jerk-off to feel better.

I guess its a matter of level of tolerance. Some have no tolerance at all. As a general rule, people feel it easy to offend others than to be offended by others.

i semi-agree. some people get offended too easily, but there's a limit and thin line and if you cross it, it's called being downright rude and disrespectful. you also have to be the one who knows what a limit is.

I believe in being kind to everyone as much as possible. To hurt someones's feelings is wrong.
