If that be the case where your previous life was that of a vampire, does that mean you can't die now ? Could you still be one of the undead even though you are now alive?

The world is full of vampires, but not the romantic ones in popular literature. Literature is quite frequently wrong. Vampires, can, and do die.
Vampirism is a technique of draining energy from others to increase your own energy, and sustaining your life.
Very few vampires from the 15th century are still around.
When a dead vampire is returned to incarnation, it gives them the opportunity to give life, love and energy, rather than take it.
If one continues to take other people's lives or life energy, there will come a time when they will no longer exist.
Have you been talking to Boyd Rice or Twacy Twyman. Get away from.
Also, remember, that many people in history were misdiagnosed as vampires due to one of two physiological conditions.

First of all I would have to believe in reincarnation at that point. So I'd convert to Hinduism.
Second, I will no longer suck the blood of anyone who just ate garlic since that's what re-killed me as vampire in the first place.
Third, umm... I guess I can die again if it happened this many times wouldn't you think? Maybe I'll just become a zombie vampire since it's just like before only "deader".
Last one, sure. You can be dead and alive at the same time in a world where vampires exist. I think you turn into a bat after dying that many times though. Bad karma has a way of catching up to you especially after converting to Hinduism. ;)

Logic problem this one...
'Lived before as vampire' -- that would be a vampire who has been killed and therefore you have been a 'dead undead' person
'previous life as vampire, can't die now' -- vampires can be destroyed, back to 'dead undead' again
'undead now alive' -- so an 'undead dead undead'?
I think you will find that beliefs in reincarnation do not allow for evil possessed demon-types to be reborn as human.
