I have always heard that CD's through music clubs such as: Columbia and BMG are cheaply made. Making these Cd's are lesser quality. The coments have usually been from friends, but I did see a story about this subject on t.v.

This has been debated by audiophiles for years now, and I still insist there USED TO BE a slight loss in quality with the music club versions.

But times have changed. Unfortunately there is really only one music club now, and because it is owned by the largest record producing conglomerate (Sony BMG) while there may have been a difference at one time, I can tell you that there is now NO difference in the quality of CDs. None!! Zero!!

I can assure you the CDs in the club are manufactured in the same plants and on the same equipment that manufactures the retail discs. They are just made in larger numbers and without the UPC code or sticker labels.

Want proof? During the whole rootkit debacle last year, the same albums that were recalled from stores were also replaced in the club. They were the same discs!

I've been with BMG for years. I mainly play my Cd's
on my computer, which has Great speakers.
I couldn't ask for a better, cheaper way to buy Cd's.

The whole Album to CD, is a rip off anyway.
The price was suppose to become the same as a
record album, or cheaper. It never did. There is alot
less on the covers, and it's so tiny to read.
I miss the Album.
