because you can only take so many players from one position. Plus hafner plays DH and the all star game was played in an NL park, which they used no DH in the all star game. since his secondary posititon is 1B, look who was in front of him, David Ortiz, who i know plays DH, but in the online ballot he was listed as a 1Bman and he got voted in by the fans so there was nothing you could do about that. 2nd konerko made it, who had about the same numbers as hafner, but since he actually plays first base he was chosen, so it was between the DHs of thome and hafner who can both play 1B, and thome had way better numbers so u gotta take him. Even they took ne more 1B they wouldnt have gotten to play ne way. both morneau and hafner got snubbed. thats y back in 2000 frank thomas got screwed cuz he was a DH and had better numbers than hafner, 25 HR at the break and didnt get to go cuz it was n an NL park w no DH, and at the end of the season he finished 2nd in MVP voting, and might even won it over Giambi who had relatively the same numbers but Giambi won it cuz he played 1B and thomas played DH, they tend to look at DHs as not complete players bcuz they only bat and dont take the field, and a DH has never won an MVP award

be conscious vw421dubz...Bud desires to make the DH take place in next season's all-famous person game. so a techniques as Hafner (he performs for the Indians (no longer Yanks or BoSox)...I voted for him interior the secondary vote...yet i think of too many ChiSox followers have been accessible balloting for that bum A.J. "Punchinski".

You can only take so many DHs when the game is played in a National League stadium. Ortiz and Thome were chosen ahead of him, and both those players were deserving as well.
