That's a hard question. Let me see if I can break this down to more manageable bites:

Cause cancer: all radioactive elements, from polonium (84) to ununhexium (116).

Can be used as a poison/is poisonous: lead (82), arsenic (33), sodium (11), chlorine (17), nickel (28), lithium (3).

Can displace oxygen/cause suffocation: hydrogen (1), helium (2), neon (10), potassium (19), krypton (36), xenon (54), radon (86).

Etc., etc., etc.. That's all I can think of right now. There is probably (definitely) more.

The bottom line is this: the consumption of ANY element at levels greater than the body can metabolize (including oxygen--high or pure levels of oxygen will kill living tissue; that's why oxygen therapy is always a blend of oxygen and some other gas, usually nitrogen) will cause disease, grave injury, and/or death. I think that's the answer you are looking for.

Hope that helps.

Most of them will cause some harm if taken internally. It is better to look for the ones that won't hurt you. Inert gases for sure (assuming they don't block oxygen), carbon and nitrogen are probably ok, gold, platinum, maybe nickel and aluminum are ok. Iron is bad in large quantities, and that is true of many elements: small amounts are ok (even essential, such as copper, selenium, zinc) but are toxic in large quantities. All heavy metals, alkali earths, halogens, rare earths, etc. are capable of causing illness. You might try to go to wikipedia and look up each element to see what it says about toxicity,

Beryllium, arsenic, antimony, cadmium, lead, mercury, thallium, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine and all the radioactive elements are hazardous to your health. The group 1 metals like potassium, sodium and the rest react explosively with water, so don't suck them. Same applies to calcium in group 2. Any gas except oxygen will suffocate you. Metals like copper, nickel, cobalt and iron, which you need in small amounts are poisonous in excess; you only need milligrams a day. Phosphorus compounds are metabolically important but elemental phosphorus is bad news. Only oxygen and inert solids like gold and platinum are safe in elemental form.

oh let's start with the fun ones. Pb, Hg, At, and other heavy metals will poision you.

Na causes water retention

in excess any can be deadly

it would be easier to ask which elements are NOT toxic to humans in their pure form.
