do you use your index finger on left button, middle finger on wheel, ring finger on right button, or index finger on left button, middle finger on right button, then spin the wheel with index finger, or just use index finger on the whole thing?????? what is the best way to do it???

Index to Left, Middle to Right, use index for wheel. You'll find that you don't use the wheel all too often anyway.

use thumb for left index/middle for wheel ring for right...
i use a track ball so thats how i do it... i find myself using a wheel mouse the same way...

dont listen to anyone, do what is comfortable and easiest for you. there is no mandatory way. you wont get shot or go to jail for doing it wrong! :)
