I am just wondering why our president finally answered a journalist a few days ago that his invasion to Iraq has nothing to do with "9/11 attack" or "War on Terror". He also said that noone in his administration suggested that Iraq and 9/11 attack are connected. Did he really forget that Cheney said so?

GW is the absolute worst president we have ever had. He is a pawn for the oil business. He is a lair. His administration are liars.I would welcome his assassination but Cheney is worse. The reason why he and the haves and have mores get away with this crap is because good people do nothing to stop it. And other possibly good people are so hoodwinked by organized religion they actually think he represents them. Organized religion is nothing more than big business using fear and superstition to keep people in line and doing what is best for the overly wealthy and powerful.
History has shown this all through the ages.
Saddam Husein would have been a problem for Bush because between his government and Iran the oil we needed would have been sold to China and North Korea. Never mind we put him there.
The problem is that our own country is falling so far behind the rest of the world that we can't even build a car that can pass emission standards in China. It is a desperate attempt to hold oil needed by the USA. But it is so flawed that we will ultimately loose that battle. Bush is completely incompitent. If the presidency was a job like any other he should have been fired. People around the world actualy believe we are as stupid as he is because we elected him. I keep explaining to people in Spain and China and Brazil and other parts of the world that he was appointed by a Supreme court packed with his daddys judges due to an election in Florida skued and full of cheating run by his partys chairman who works for his brother.
The problem is the people of the US are not outraged by the hijacking of their Democracy.
The second election was not much better. The fools in Louisiana now see what it's like to vote Republican. New Orleans is just another Bush atrocity. Trying to ask a reasonable question of why Bush did what he did is like asking a person like John Wayne Gacy why did he kill those people. There is no real why he just did it.
Please don't come running to me about how Bush can't be compared to John Wayne Gacy. If you are looking at the facts and you are looking at deaths caused Bush has Gacy beat by more than a 100 to 1. Try over 3000 american soldiers most just kids 19years old. Not to mention many innocent Iraqis. Given the wack jobs who are Muslim Fundamentalist are even worse.
The problem is all he did is open a Pandoras box. He should have gone to Afghanistan and finished the job. When he had Bin Laden trapped did he bring in a 1000 soldiers or at least 500? Try 39..... they let the Afghani rebels do the job and they let Bin Ladin through.

One thing about liars is that they can forget their lies and tell the truth if you ask them the same question often enough.

While he may have not directly said that Saddam was responsible for 9/11, everyone in the Administration had the uncanny ability to start a sentence with Osama Bin Laden or 9/11 and finish it with Saddam Hussein or Iraq, thus creating the perception of a connection in the public eye. George Bush clearly isn't the most articulate President or eloquent orator in history, but the one thing he was good at was creating sentences that made that connection.

I believe you are over stating the comment; he said the war has nothing to do with 9/11, but not that it has nothing to do with the war on terrorism. The later is a war against extremist and that is what attacks on a daily basis in Iraq.

He did say 9/11 and the war on terror was tied to Iraq, now he says it isn't and no one seems to give a hoot anymore. Tragic. Really tragic.

I cannot remember Bush himself ever saying that Iraq was absolutely responsible for 9/11. He did say that they were part of the Axis of Evil along with Iran and N. Korea. He never blamed them (Iran , N. Korea) for 9/11 either. He did blame Saddam for supporting terrorists financially and with weapons (regular ones, not WMDs) in various places of the world. The press and others inferred that Bush was associating Saddam with 9/11. Saddam did send money to the families of suicide bombers in Palestine. Saddam was so pissed about Desert Storm 1991, one can assume that he would be a big obstacle to the USA.

That idiot wouldn't know if his **** had been nuked (and if he did, he wouldn't be able to pronounce it properly. Its no surprise, he and his administration basically thinks everybody is stupid and will believe anything that is said to them weather its true or not. As long as he and his cronies make a buck the rest can get f#*ked, that be his credo!

He won't stop the lies.

He'll stay until Civil War erupts between Sunnis and Shias.

Then he'll applaud himself for a job well done.

He's a crock of sh!t.
