I hopefully sense some sarcasm in your question and in other questions you've posted. (I don't just answer questions without doing a background check, first.) Obviously, this method is working swell in Iraq... we've captured and destroyed all of Sadam's WMD, saved the oil fields from burning and fixed some faulty equipment (sure glad we have such a reputable company like Haliburton there), we've also restored peace and brought democrazy to all of the pooor, poor Iraqis.
Yeah, I think it would be a fantastic idea. Maybe then we can get the EU to come and invade greedy little America and put them in a time-out.
On a serious side, why don't we quit whining about how Mexican workers "take our jobs for less pay." They are much better workers than most Americans, and that is why they are sought out by companies. If you are a worried American, get a freakin' education, be a more diligent worker. I think that would solve the border problem.
About the oil, why can't we invest in companies that have already paved the way in developing better gas saving technology? Instead of companies that are just dragging their feet and boast when they make a vehicle get a whopping 20 MPG instead of 15!

I think it is the best solution and we can do more for everyone who wants to come and it is going to be the new territory.Bring the new frontier spirit and let's have a ball. Now how are we going to fixed the National debt,National Health care, and Social Security issue, and Nap ta as well as South America treaty. What about the drug gang who does not like the DEA and how are we going to feed our poor people around Mexico and her corruption that never end since I came to this country 30 some years ago. Last I warn you about Karma that anything goes up it will come down, and nothing is free, so Mexico oil is not enough otherwise, the population will not want their better lives in America, What is your two cents? Thank you very much for this question.

No need for that, we are a net exporter of crude oil to the US in exchange we get payment promises a.k.a. US dollars, that the Fed makes out of nothing. Enjoy the good life while you can, one day not too far we'll ask those dollars to be redeem with something of real value, how about Texas, NM, Az and California back? I hate being nationalistic but how else can anyone respond to such an offensive question? Mexicans enter the US without documents and it's becuase of the same capitalistic policy that is making third world countries poorer, it is understandable that any person with the capacity to go to the US will go legaly or illegally to make more money for their work in order to feed their children, even if that makes them break the laws, living good is a human right, and if the US don't want Mexican they should start by arresting whoever employs them.

It's been done. 1847 and 1916 to name two examples.
We didn't solve the border problem and we didn't gain any territory the second time. (We did gain some in the aftermath of the Mexican War.)
Mexico doesn't want to be part of the U-S, or they would be seeking annexation. Their problems are many and they range from political to economic to social. Trust me, we would be gaining more problems than we would be solving if we were somehow able to invade and annex Mexico.
Why don't you visit Mexico sometime? You might be surprised at the good things there, as well as the problems. I've learned something every time I've been there.

You have the cheek to ask 'should america invade mexico'? The question beggars belief.
You already have invaded Mexica, California is/was Mexico. You are brainwashed, I think, by all of the idiot films you make and view.
Boarder problems? Get a life.
Why don't you get off your butt and do something good to-day? Better that than thoughts like the above.
Take it easy.

I think eventually we'll have to fight a war with Mexico after they get a Chavez or a Castro instead of a Fox. Probably in the next 10 years. They already call the Southwest "The Northern Provinces"...imagine what will happen when they get a dictator! It would be a better idea to strike now, but it probably won't happen.

Why we would we invade our neighbors, who do you think we are, Nazi Germany? Canada would draw their line in the sand.
We already invaded and easily took the sparsely settled California. If any one wants to argue that it was o.k. because they took it from the Indians, Bull, we took all of America from the Indians , and we haven't given it back.
Many people believe that the Americans started the war intentionally to take Mexico's territory, so as to be able to continue their pursuit of Manifest Destiny "
In my familys journal:
On 14 June, 1846 the Bear Flag revolt began when 33 armed Americans, "Osos" [bear flaggers] called on Mariano Vallejo and took him prisoner."
The Bear Flag proclaiming the Republic Of California was first flown in Sonoma, Ca. The revolt lasted until Oct. *****and******* joined Fremont that year. to continue the conquest
.
There was no huge Mexican army here. Many peaceful Mexicans were dispossessed and their land taken by settlers and later by gold miners. Mexicans who fought them were considered criminals and if caught were executed. One especially revengeful Mexican who fought back was Joaquin Murietta. When he was finally caught, he was beheaded. The causualties were small on both sides. California was lost.
Don't under estimate Mexico, an invasion would bring them support and funding from all over South America. They are not as weak as you think.

That would be one of the stupidest things the U.S. has ever done. If you think we're stretched thin in Iraq now, where are you going to get the troops? A draft, perhaps?
Then what about all the Hispanic Americans whose relatives are in Mexico? Do you think they're going to stand idly by while the U.S. steamrolls over Mexico?

We already did. We had troops in Mexico City in the mid 1800's. Owned most of the country, didn't want it, gave most of it back.
Besides, Mexico is doing a fine job of invading the US without firing a shot. There is even a term for it, it's called 'reconquista'.

Yes, but not with military personel, send the homeless Katrina victims in, you can have the peace corp come in later and set up hotels and resorts for cheap vaction destinations!! Process a peacful invasion, and settlement like the illegals do to us!!! Have American companies down there hire on Home country nationanlity, pay them outrageous amounts so its worth it and I bet that would be a better battle than using guns, Parading workers???
