Science is not dogmatic. Every scientific subject is always subject to revision or rejection at any time, given a proper reason to do so.

I do not understand how science is cheating us. Pluto was discovered in 1930. At the time we thought it to be unique. Later we found lots and I mean lots of similar objects and even bigger ones. Also, astronomers did not declare Pluto to be a planet, that was more of a pop science attribution. So now with the discovery of more bodies (because of better detection tools) astronomers had to "define" what a planet. If Pluto was to be named a planet then there would have to be an addition of nearly 25 new planets in our solar system.

No! Scientist must be open minded
As we go to our journey, we will discover something that is new. If you compare the technology that you are exploiting at present to the technology we had during the first discovery of Pluto in 1937. You could say that we've gone too far thereby discovering something that we were not able to discover before, using classical instruments e.g. telescopes. We have more powerful telescopes now as compared before so we are able to see some new things.
We were not cheated but we are still in progress in knowing our environment.
The universe is so vast that we have to categories carefully everything on it for us to avoid confusion.
I still believe in science. There is nothing wrong about changing the tradition for the truth. Pluto's classification now is just a result of our increasing capability.

In today market image is the important selling point. Pluto"s image did not stand up to par to the other planets.so it was decide to be replaced= they still looking for a better planet that would meet their expectation, even though Pluto had done very well in the past as a Planet.
May be the same thing will happen to the Big Bang next.
lets put this way this is sientific business marketing.

Oh come on, nothing has changed other then a title and we all know titles are cheap.

What this have done is define and redefine what we think based upon new knowledge.
