Johann Gutenberg was the best person in history because he invented a printing press with movable type, and books could be made cheaply enough so that the average person could afford them.
After he invented this movable-type printing press, The Renaissance or Renewal of Knowledge and Achievement began in Europe. This Renewal was enhanced by Gutenberg's invention because once books were available to the general public, they shared their knowledge and conclusions. Many great figures in history emerged: Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Voltaire, et.al.

there is no one best person in history. Also, the best people will be those whose achievements were not recognised eg people who consistently helped others in a humble manner.

I'm not born on that time therefor I not told exactly who is Best?
Boz we only listen what other saying, we not exactly see. whatever I think as part of History "The Hitler" is Best person; i not saying on there cruel side. I think as point of his military power. how he create power full military on that time also?
but at last he take wrong step, therefor he called "cruel".

first off all history is not like a game off cricket.
the people who have made their names in history r all heros, all of them have been best persons in their times.
thus to my conclusion all the names in history are of best persons n thats y they are in history.

There were many great ppl who contributed so much in their respective fields , g8 inventors, scientists, humanitarians etc. I feel Mahatma Gandhi was someone who did his work self-lessly. Taught us importance of non-violence, simplicity,truth & to stand for what u believe in. He didnt wear a shirt cos he saw millions of his poor Indian brothers could not afford one.
