On a regular email, it will not "alert" you. But with some services Yahoo provides, such as "e-cards," you can choose the option of being "alerted" when they receive/read it.

You can't know that but if you will sent a card from e.g. www.123greetings.com you will recieve a meesage that your card has been seen

You can't... sorry... I think the only one that tells you was AOL and thats only of its another AOL email.

unfortunatly it doesnt have that capability. if you sent in email on myspace you can tell when they do
