You could be A or B unless something unusual has happened. If your mom is AB she has to have given you an A or a B. If your dad is a simple O, he has neither an A nor a B, so his gene can't hide the one from your mom. But, he could be O because he has two recessives at gene H/h, which can hide the A or B. In that case, you could get A or B from him but you'd have to get an h since he's hh and can only give you an h from that gene. Mom has at least one H or she couldn't be an AB. If she's heterozygous (H/h) you could be O by getting h from both parents. Or, you could be A or B or even AB if you get Mom's H gene. Sorry this is complicated, but there's lots of misinformation out there about it.

Each biological parent donates one of their two ABO alleles to their child. A mother who is blood type O can only pass an O allele to her son or daughter. A father who is blood type AB could pass either an A or a B allele to his son or daughter. This couple could have children of either blood type A (O from mother and A from father) or blood type B (O from mother and B from father).

As others have said, you would be either A or B, because O would be recessive. You also have to see if you're mother is AB+ or AB-, as the + and - indicates the presence (or lack thereof) of the "r" protein. Thus, the allele for the "r" protein could be transferred to you if your mother had it, and thus end up either A-, B-, A+, or B+.

You could be either A or B (but not AB or O). Your mother could pass either her A allele or B allele (not both). Your father could only pass an O. Since O is recessive, your mother determines your blood type.

You could be either A or B.
A and B are dominant genes and O is recessive. Since ur mom's Blood group is AB she could pass on either A or B to you.

You get either A or B from your mother and neither from your father. So you are A or B.
