I was going to make an IM saying that, but I want the correct spelling. I know it can't be a word.

Flippity-Doo-Dah

Hmmm....This word must be split into its various parts in order to determine the proper spelling. At first sight, the word seems to be a compound of an adjective and a subject.

ex: She is a flippidi dooda.
His dooda has become flippidi.

Now, the adjective 'flippidi' sounds like a Latin-based word, in which case it should probably be spelled "flippity" in the singular form, whereas 'dooda' is a dutch word (hence the double-o) and should be spelled either "doodaa" or the more palatable "doodah"

So, in my opinion you have two options:

Flippity doodah - singular
Flippididoodaa - plural (ex: The men suffering from this STD have reported side effects including failure in romantic relationships, severe headaches, and flippididoodaa.

But to spell it "flippididooda"? Now that just seems silly.

I don't think there is a "correct" spelling if it isn't a word. It is YOUR word so use YOUR spelling. You invented it.
