please solve this for me i know the concept but not coming up with the correct answer..
1/2 (x + 7 )+2= 1/5 (5 +9x) + 5

.5x + 3.5 + 2 = 1 + 1.8x + 5 <-- perfmormed the multiplication to get rid of the ( )
.5x + 5.5 = 6 + 1.8x <-- performed the addition
5.5 - 6 = 1.8x - .5x <-- moved numbers to one side of the = and the variables to the other
-.5 = 1.3x <-- did the math
- (.5 / 1.3) = x <-- simplified the variable
- (5/13) = x <-- final result

First, multiply each side of the equation by 10 to get the fractions out, so you have
5(x+7) + 20 = 2(5 + 9x) +50
5x + 35 + 20 = 10 + 18x + 50
5x +55 = 18x + 60
55 = 13x + 60
-5 = 13x
x = -5/13

8/2x - 9/5x = 1+5-2
4x - 9/5x = 4

3.5+2-1-5=1.8x-0.5x
