Not only did he lie, but he swore on his child? What next? She ends up with aids or something far worse? Nobody can push anyone into cheating, no matter how much nagging one does. If I were her, I turn the surprise party into a "get the hell out, I'm done, you lying bastard" party. Throwing a party doesn't make up for the lack of trust your friend has,nor does it make his lies and cheating any less serious. I'm sure she wants to try and make things work, but if I were her, I'd quit living in denial. What he did was wrong...very wrong and he could have given her something far worse. What is she going to do if that happens? Throw another party? C'mon honey, this is your friend. You know her better than any of us. And you'd also know what you would do in this situation too. Help her get out of it before it gets worse.

I can't say that you must kill the guy but you know what we live to learn and we learn to live so no matter what the situation you can't stop whats going to happen don't get involved too much even though you are concerned but lets be realistic it's in the past and you can't change anything and look at the bright side he is being nice even though the girl has chlamydia that's not the issue the issue is that he notice that he has done something wrong and he can't change it but he would like for her to have a great time and she is to enjoy herself i tell you i am happy that God is so good if only you, me and this world would give him a chance then half of the things that happen to people would not happen. Don't live in the past allow the future to make this happen i know that things are mess up but thank God for life because we do need it.

She should leave him he is playing her as a fool. He is using her as a punching bag and a doormat. Having an affair with or without sex is still a bad thing. I think he did have sex with her though. Having a birthday party is not going to make up for all of the abuse he is giving her. She needs to get out before more damage comes her way. He needs help and has to get it for himself. Life is short why waste time with someone that is not all the way there.

Do not forgive him. There is no excuse and quit blaming yourself. Nagging is not such a big deal. And if he did not give you a reason to think he was cheating, then you would never have thought it in the first place or accused him of it. Anyway kissing and dates IS cheating. Sex is just bigger cheating.

In a word... "ISSUES!!!" Geeez!!! Simple: Either trust and drop it or don't and dump him. The rest is just drama. Time to move on and let it die.
