Can anyone out there guess how much money that busniess brings in compared to selling drugs? And yet someone of the people who say it's wrong use it to fix bedroom problems with their wives and husbands and etc.

this is nothing new.

porn can bring more problems then you know.

I am living proof. My former spouse said that because he watched and read porn he wanted to do the same to me. I was used as a test of just how far a person could take pain where there should only be pleasure. He knew nothing about sex until he fed himself full - this is what he admitted. there was no limit to what he wanted and did. i had no say in the matter. i planned on killing him because of the bloody torture. i finally left because he wasn't worth me going to jail. i know now that a man can make love to a woman and it is wonderful. but for years i thought that there was something wrong with me because i hated what was being done to me. Love was the key.

he is just one example of what porn does to people. other men i have talked to have agreed with it's potential.

go to a marriage counselor or a doctor if you are having sex problems with you mate. you can talk sex with them and actually get good and productive answers.

Sex and love are two very different things. My opinion is that Sex was given to humans as a gift, to be respected.

You are rationalizing your support for porn.
It appeals to peoples's baser desires and can be a problem as can any addiction.
Porn also gloryfies the reduction of men and women to mere sex objects.

And no one let alone you really knows how much money is being made by the sale of illegal drugs. .

You are asking a christian.... and it is wrong because it can lead to problems, it isn't always just self help that porn is used for.. Drugs and all that stuff is just as bad, i am not denying the problems of the world, not singling one or the other out either.

because they don't want to admit they have a fine collection of it themselves...

If it's wrong to use porn to fix bedroom problems in a marriage, what would they suggest? Infidelity?
Theres a show on called Sexual Healing, and the councelor promotes the use of porn and toys and fetish play to heal sexual problems in relationships

Because they feel that it is wrong. It's their belief. It exploits people in many ways etc, it may be voluntary, to an extent, but so is selling and buying drugs. Since you brought that up, but that doesn't really have anything to do with porn.

Well first of all let me go on record as saying I'm quite fond of porn. I think that most people who have a problem with it feel that way because they think it portrays women as sex objects. They would say it exploits women. They're probably right, but men have been doing it for thousands of years. Why stop now? Oh wait... because it's wrong. Oh, now I'm confused.

I like when they call it a "marital aide". Nothing like watching porn while making love to your wife... And knowing women... specifically my wife, the first question of self doubt that would come up is "Did I turn you on or was it the girl on TV that did it for you?"

It's a sickness that is very addictive. It doesn't fix anything and ruins everything it comes in contact with. It isn't always about the money.

i don't think its wrong in general but it isn't all together good either. Sex should not be hidden away, nor should folks be ashamed...especially if they are good at it and enjoy it. i personally learned how to be comfortable with my body and try new things cuz i watched porno with my b-friend and I enjoyed it...

but sometimes it's too one sided (i guess for better lack of terms) and it dummies-down sexology and cheapens sexuality.

whatever, take it or leave it, it is for mature audiences and should not be too flaunted, nor should we be all feeling bad cuz we like to watch others boink.

because people are afraid to live out their fantasies and enjoy it. I'm still looking for a couple women to live out my fantasies with.... add a couple double headed dongs and a couple strap ons and we'll be set... hehehehehe
