Meteor or galaxy? A meteor might, a galaxy won't until the universe collapses on itself.

Scientists in the know are convinced that somewhere out there is a meteor on a collision course with the earth. They haven't spotted it yet, and are hoping to develop the means to destroy or deflect it before it hits.

Galaxies are huge collections of billions of stars (our own Milky Way is a galaxy). While eventually we may collide with another galaxy, it's not in our forseeable future.

If you don't know the difference between a meteor and a galaxy, I would advise reading a book on astronomy before you ask a question here. Otherwise you just make a fool of yourself.

The fact is you need just a teeny bit of knowledge to be able to ask a question. You haven't even got that.

Dont worry about a meteor coliding or the world getting flatened. This may sound scarey to you but, ima christian and in Revelation(in the bible) is talks about how in the last days (the end of the world) things are going to happen-like whats happening in Isreal-and SOON the Lord is coming to take his people! But dont be afraid HEaven is way better then Earth so "Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved"(its a scripture).

And in Revelation 21 it says how Heaven looks. So dont believe scientists or mayans cause their wrong!!!! BELIEVE GOD!
