in the state where i live our banks have drive up windows and lots of times they will hand us something to sign and a pen and we dont give the pen back
do you do this?
do the ppl at the bank get mad when ppl do that?

This should depend on the interest rate and level of service your bank provides. Although 'thou shalt not steal' is good advice to stick to on most occasions if you feel your bank hasn't been up to the mark with you this year, then go ahead and take a pen if only to make yourself happy for a few minutes and to feel the rush of stealing something.
I'm pretty sure Bank of America or Wachovia or any other large bank wouldn't mind if you stole their pens. Smaller banks or credit unions might find it more irritating though.

most times people are so ignorant they steal PENS from the bank or they might be like me and totally for get you had the pen and you get so damn exited you have money in you're hand you just drive off with it and go to the mall LOL

If the pen has the name of the bank on it, it's OK. They must want you to have it, right? After all they already know who they are... :)
By the way, this same theory works for Hotel towels and ash trays, too.

never done that. but ive had people ask for a pen in a grocery line to sign a check and they put it in their purse. if i like that pen i ask for it back, if its a cheap pin (Bic) then i just let them keep it.

I have a bad habit of stealing pens... although not on purpose... and noone's ever said anything

my husband does and they usually give him a few extra. He takes pens from everywhere.

Its free advertising, They WANT you to take them. Why else would they want pens with their own company name on it

I don't do that; I almost always have a pen on hand, anyway, since I am a writer. :)
