Change the washer. If you have taps, you have valve stems, and the valve stems have washers. It's not a hard job to do, and isn't beyond even the most inexperienced woman. But you need to be shown at least once. Call your Dad. Once you see how you'll be able to do this for yourself forevermore.
Don't leave the tap dripping too long. The seat can actually become etched from the water constantly leaking through, and will need replacement. Seats are so not fun to replace. It takes a little luck and a lot of ingenuity to do it properly the first time (it's very easy to cross thread).

First you have to determine what kind of faucett you have... the name is stamped either on the back or underside of the faucett. If it's a Moen faucett, they have a lifetime warranty and the Moen company will send you the parts you need to fix your faucett for free. Their phone number is 1 -800-BUY-MOEN.
If its any other brand you need to replace some parts on the inside. Go to the home improvent store and find someone in the plumbing department to help you find the correct parts you need to go with your faucett. Most manufactureres have a parts kit with instructions on how to replace everything, Its just very important to know what brand you have before you go buy the parts.

Probably a washer problem. They wear out over time. Don't forget to stop the water flow to the taps before taking out!

You will need both a new washer and a washer seat. To get out the seat a tool is necessary which is available at hardware stores for about $5.-. Good luck.

Yeah, you need to replace to O-rings inside the fawcet...it's a pretty simple job...just be careful not to make any nicks in the indentation where the o-ring sits...and use a petroleum jelly or some sort of waterproof lubricant for the ring.

Buy new plastic washers from the water lines to the bottom of your tap.

It probably needs a new washer. They're easy to put in. However if its the seat, you might need professional help unless you know someone who is handy. Don't keep wasting water. Get it fixed.

Of course there is something you can do! Get off yer bum, go to the local hardware store and ask how to fix the thing. If it can't be fixed it can be replaced. New bathroom faucet = fifty bucks for a nice one!
