Hey i am 17 but will be 18 next month, and i am still a virgin, do you think that is good or bad... i am not scared of sex i jus want it to mean something.. when it happens

I think that's definitely a good thing. Knowing who you are before you get sexually involved is a great thing to have going. It makes you a strong person for not just going along with the crowd. Also, you're right about sex meaning something. There can be great emotional value betweeen a couple who makes love for the first time (especially if it's the VERY first time either party had sex). Good for you! You go, girl.

hello i am 26yrs old and i didnt lose my virginity till i was 23 i waited till i was ready,i was and still am in a long term relationship and he waited and respected my wishes , lots of my friends were in such a rush then complained afterwards that the wish they would have waited, your one of the very few that is still out there respecting yourself , you should be proud of yourself that your not like everyone else and make sure your in a long term relationship, make him wait for sex see how much he really cares he will respect you more if you show how much it means to you, if hes a jerk you will know, trust me.sex is a big thing for men and i dont care what anyone thinks thats the way men are so if hes willing to wait (without complaining , fighting or cheating then he must be some what of a nice guy , theres nothing wrong with him being fustrated, but if hes pressureing you tell him to f--k off hope i helped.

Hey, sorry I'm not a girl and you said girls only, but I'm in my mid 20's and I can give you the best advice I know, and that is to stop caring about it. Don't rush it. It will happen naturally, and there is nothing to think about, let alone worry. Lighten up Amber. You've got lots of time. Oh, but to answer your question, it's great! it shows that you are actually a strong person who has a sense of individuality and higher than normal self esteem. You should be proud of youorself, but don't think it will last too long once you get to college.

Girl I no how u feel. My friend told me how she had sex & da boy wasn't worth it. Just think. U r yung u have a whole lyfe ahead. Listen 2 S.E.X. by Lyfe Jennings & u tell me ur answer. I was bout 2 have sex @13 but, I said no bcause I want my husband 2 take my virginity. just think do u think th@ u will b with da boy 4 a while. If u r then u r n luck. Stay a virgin until you are married. Anything else is playing with fire, meaning incurable veneral diseases, abortion, depression, guilt, heartache, etc. If some guy gives you the "if you really loved me..." line, tell him the best and oldest measure of love is the willingness to stand up before God and a lot of people you both know and put a ring on your finger.

I think thats a great thing because it shows that you know its important and not some thing that should just be done because you think everyone is doing it. Also you wont have to live with all thouse anoying diseases you could get and have to put up with for the rest of your life [ also you will have a less chance passing it on to the love of your life :D ]

Be proud that your still a virgin! Not many girls do that...look at all the teen pregnancy. When the time is right for you youll know because your body will let you know.

The longer you wait the better. Yes it should be special and when you do it wear protection because you can get pregnant even if it really is your "first time".
