An excuse to take away our liberty's, our freedom, our privacy's under the lame excuse of "national security". It gives the President power to basically put America in a state similar to George Orwells 1984.
After enough time then BAM!!! a one world government, which is weird because Bush Sr is a 32nd degree Freemason, and Sonny boy is part of Skull and Bones.
Here is the real scoop on the Patriot Act. http://www.infowars.com/police_state.html

Why do you need to know?
Not a single member of congress knew what it said because none of them read a single word of it before signing it into law.
It took Michael Moore to drive around in an ice cream truck and a pa reading the patriot act aloud in the center circle of the White House before it was even considered to be read.

It is the most unpatriotic act to ever be passed by our government.
It is a blatant disregard for american ideals in exchange for a sense of safety, which by the way, does not actually exist.
No amount of government power can protect you from terrorists.
A government that can give you anything, will take everything. Thats how people are.

It is a collection of substantive and procedural changes to dozens of code sections, initially enacted in 2001 and updated in 2006.
Most of the changes removed restrictions of information transfer between government agencies, and streamlined some administrative procedures.
Other parts opened public records to easier government access, including medical files, library records, school transcripts, financial statements, etc.
A full copy of the original 2001 bill and 2006 update is linked below.
