sqx+y
sqx-y

(sqx+y)(sqx-y)
sqx-y

x + sqxy - sqxy - y^2 = 0

x - y^2 = 0

x = y^2

y = sqx

that may be right...

It cannot be "solved" because there are no numbers, but the answer should look like... root sign with x + y inside of it then divided OVER root sign with x - y inside of it

It's difficult to show that on here when u can't "write" it. :)

I could help you remove the root sign.Just Square the whole thing
root of(x+y)/root of (x-y)

you'll get x+y/x-y

Now if you can use the values for x substitue it and solve it.

I think the above is correct.

(sqX+y) / (sqX-y)

find y

sqX-y

=> sqX =y
X = ysq
sub (sq(ysq) + y) / sq(ysq - y)
cancel sq
(y + y) / (y - y)
=2y / 0
=e
the answere for both equations is an error
